Behind Eco Cheeks is Tanya, an environmentally conscious mum of one and unapologetic pun-lover. Like so many parents, motivated to create a healthier, toxin-free home for her son, Alfred, she set out on a mission to remove unnecessary chemicals from everyday life.

When she started researching toilet paper, she discovered that most brands are bleached with chlorine, creating dioxins – toxins linked to infertility, immune system damage, and hormone disruption.  That alone was alarming, but it’s also been discovered that many contain ‘forever chemicals’ like PFAS. The thought of families wiping the most absorbent part of the body with these chemicals? It didn’t seem right.

With no truly safe and sustainable option on the market, Tanya decided to create one. And so, Eco Cheeks was born — a cheeky little brand making bamboo toilet paper and tissues that are good for you and great for the planet.
