Unlike polypropylene 'green bags' this bag is free from synthetic petrochemicals and at the end of its useful life will safely biodegrade.

Responsibly-made in Bangladesh with BRAC, the largest Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in the world. BRAC supports the livelihoods of over 70% (100 million) of Bangladesh’s population through its social, health and education programs. Sustainable employment is provided for 35,000 underprivileged rural artisans, 85% of whom are women.

The artisans who make these bags earn a wage, enabling them to aim to lift their families above subsistence level
