Camphor Laurel is recognized as a serious environmental weed species in Australia and control programs advocate integrated removal and replacement with Native trees. By utilising this ethically acceptable timber we contribute to the environment in a positive way.

Please note – upon arrival, the board will smell of camphor laurel, due to the natural oils of the wood. This will not transfer to the food and is food safe. The smell will fade with use, especially after an intial wash in warm soapy water.
